I really like the fragrances, and will order again, both for myself and as gifts. The packaging is perfect - the outside is really attractive and inside the candles sit like little jewels. It is a present that does not need wrapping. Perfect hostess gift. Very high quality wax - no smoking, and again, I found the fragrances to be lovely - each different and with its own personality.
EXOTIC / Christie, CA10/9/2007 To me these candles are unusual and exotic like something from the far east. They have top notes and mid notes like fine perfume. They are highly scented but not heavy or sickening...just lovely and exotic.Also beautifully packaged for gift giving...if you can part with them!
Perfume with a wick... / Demand the Best, CA10/7/2007 What a shame, the candles are dreadful. Over-perfumed with scents that are heavy and old fashioned, nearly sickening. After less than an hour of burning one, I developed a headache. Had to air out the room. A guest came for dinner and found the heavy odor so unbearable that she asked to eat on the patio. "Clean" and "fresh" are terms that do not apply to these candles. Returned.
