I ordered this recently with the intention of giving it as a Christmas Present. After it arrived and turning it on to check it out I found it to be absolutely stunning. So much so that I had to give it as an early gift.

It keeps a good charge for about 2+ hours which is perfect for what anyone would want this for, in my opinion. I collect very specific paperweights and it is breathtaking in my curio cabinet for a highlight.

You absolutely will not be disappointed. I am ordering more.

This piece is key in making my other Sorelle crystal pieces stand out. The colors pop throughout the crystal and give life to each of my Sorelle pieces. I have the other light base as well. I really like the fact that I can move the light base anywhere in my home during parties and even on a day to day basis. I LOVE it… thank you Sorelle & HSN!

i have to agree with one of the other reviews in that this does not hold a charge for too very long...a couple hours at best, and then you have to drag the cord out and re charge once again....sort of defeats the purpose of cordless...am disappointed about that feature, and of course, that is why i was excited to buy it...it does look good while on, of course, but as i said, they need to work on the having this item to hold a charge alot longer

I just received 2 of the bases today. I have them charging. I placed two of sorelle
item's i have. So peaceful, so calming,
and the colors are just wonderful.
I am expecting 2 other illuminated bases to
place my other sorelle cystal peices. I am very
happy with my purchase. Sure you can get
them in a dollor store, yet the are not
Sorelle Crystal.

While this light base is OK, and reasonably comparable to the previous offerings from Sorelle, that is all great when the light base is PLUGGED IN. The problem is that while this is rechargeable, it doesn't seem to hold a charge for very long. Even seemingly fully charged (there are no instructions) for 24-48 hrs, it only stays lit for a few hours. I hoped to use this in a curio cabinet, where the previous light bases wouldn't work with the cords. Longer held charges would really help, these were just a letdown.
