Last winter I bought 3 B.R.warming throws-1 for my mother and 2 for myself.They were nice,velour, and kind of heavy.My 82 yr.old mother didn't like the heaviness and my dogs chewed the cords on mine.I still use them because they are warm without heat. This throw is incredibly light,fluffy fleece with great warming control and the wires are almost non-existant.I paid much more for the others and this is a great value.I will get another for myself-unfortunatly, my mom is too hard to please!

i bought this and washed it once it started to pull after being washed as stated a few days later i went to turn it on and it sparked, so back it went really scary

I had been desperately looking for one of these & of couse my favortite store, HSN, provided me with a quality product for a great price. This works perfectly. Perfect size, not too thick, and love the detachable plug...been enjoying it for about 2 months now...works like brand new!

This blanket heated well and the fabric felt velvety soft and high quality as though it will not pill up like the many Sunbeam blankets I have purchased over the years. The only draw back is that the controls do not light up, so you can't see what heat level you are on in the dark. Other than that, it seems like a good alternative to the nasty Sunbeam standbys. Only time will tell how it stands up to washing, but it can't do much worse than the Sunbeams.

Don't expect this heated throw to warm you up in the Winter. It's more appropriate for a Spring/Summer heated throw. Sage or beige would be a perfect color for a spring/summer.
