Wish I had a time machine......

I would not have purchased this. When you get it, the box says "do not open if you don't like a firm mattress" or something like that. I like firm.....but this is HARD. Really hard. I have arthritis and this is not only not helping it is making the pain worse. The description says "MEMORY FOAM", it should have some give, but there is none.
After reading previous reviews, and not being able to get it back in the box, I have decided to give up on a return, and try a memory foam topper to see if it helps.

THE MANUFACTURE DATE IS MAY 19, 2007.FOAM WILL NOT RESPOND AFTER THIS LENGTH OF TIME IN COMPRESSION.HSN ONLY ACTS AS A MIDDLE MAN FOR THE RETURN OR EXCHANGE OF THIS ITEM.I'M SURE THAT WHEN NEW IT WAS A GOOD MATTRESS,BUT NOW IT'S JUST AN EXPENSIVE TOPPER.I CANNOT GET IT BACK INTO IT'S ORIGINAL BOX.I'VE NEVER SLEPT ON THIS MATTRESS,BECAUSE IT IS STILL ONLY 3 INCHES THICK, NOT THE 6 I WAS ASSURED IT WOULD BE AFTER 72 HOURS.BUYER BEWARE.

I purchased this mattress in September 2008. It was fully inflated as advertised within the first 24 hours. My husband and I have never agreed on a mattress (he likes firm/I like soft)until now. This is a great mattress at a superb price.

Do not buy this mattress. Recieved it Sept 12, 2008 still will not lay flat, I suppose because the tag says it was made on May 19, 2007 so it has sat in a warehouse, shrink wrapped for 16 months!
Found you cannot return,even with the 30 day trial. Manuf number is not on paperwork, but when I called HSN they said I had to deal with the manufacturer. HSN has my $460+ but I have to work with their vendor to try and return something that HSN told me can't be returned because of its size!

this is a great idea. we've had for about a month now and my husband's lower back issues are one hundred percent better. i'm not saying that it is better than a new 2,000. mattress, but it might be and it's a heck of alot cheaper. we put it right on top of our old mattress and box spring and it feels great. can't beat the price either. coming back for a full size for my son. ordered on line, no tax, free shipping, lightweight and delivered right to my door. GO FOR IT.
