I received the set today and I couldn't wait to open it. I haven't had a chance to look at every item yet (received them at work) however so far everything arrived in one piece. The plates and cups are really beautiful. My only disappointment is that there was no teapot included with the set. It would make sense to add one since the set comes with a sugar bowl, creamer and tea/coffee cups.

I ordered 3 sets of these and 2 sets of the gravy salt and pepper. I just noticed they have the Soup Taureen too. Will buy two sets of the Soup Taureen. We need the Butter Dish to go with the set. The tea cups are small but I am not an expert on tea cups. Water Glasses would be nice to add to this set.

I must admit I can be a snob about dishes but this design is so elegant and classic. It looks even better in person than on tv. You must get more than one set, you also must get the abagail flatware and the gold chargers to complete the look. You will be beyond excited and pleased with your purchase. I thought I was in heaven when I saw the matching holiday dessert plates. I got multiple sets of those as well.

Allegra, if it is possible to make a 6.5" bread and butter plate that would be the finishing touch!

This will be the most beautiful holiday table I have ever set and it is especially important this year as I have just bought my first house and my family is coming to visit over the holidays... Happy Holidays everyone!
