needs some fixes4/5/2008 i do love the look of the set but i agree with other about the curtains they look fine on my smaller window pinned back. the show curtain i think is great i used my own hooks. the sheets were fine until about the 5th wash and the seems on the pillow cases came apart. with a little upgrading this would be a very wonderful set
O.K. / L,Lo, NY2/27/2008 I liked the color(terricotta) and the quality is not so bad considering I wanted it for the look and not the warmth but the curtains and the balances seemed to be for a dwarf home. Give me a break could you not have made them any smaller or shorter?!
Worth the money / , NV1/4/2008 I haven''t put the bedding on my bed yet. I agree that the curtain panels should be wider and LONGER! Shower curtain up okay and looks nice. The rings had some loose threads but not many. The comforter I received looks beautiful. It is a bit on the orange side and I thought it would be mor eterra cotta. Thin fabric fur sure.
Sheet set is cheap quality. No wonder they included it in the package.
Not sure if I would purchase again.
Beautiful & A Great Buy! / , MN12/31/2007 I didn''t really expect much from this set, considering how inexpensive it was. But I needed a set and decided to try this because I liked getting all the pieces in one set. I was AMAZED when it arrived--the blue has a subtle but powerful presence. Even my husband (who usually notices nothing!) commented on how nice it was. He also likes the weight of the comforter--warm and cozy without being heavy. Our 30-something daughter, who is a real expert on such things, was also very impressed with the look of it. The only reason I didn''t give it 5 stars was because the curtain panels really should be a little wider, as should the valances. I''d like the comforter a little longer, but it fits as well as most comforter sets do on our king 4-poster bed. I''ve only found one comforter, even in the various oversized sets I''ve bought, that was actually long enough. I think this is an incredible value.
What a Waste of Money / Tammy, FL12/27/2007 I am tired of the Promises and No Delivery! This is the second Highgate Manor set that I have purchased. They ''Do Not Fit'' the size mattress in today''s market. The fabric has a cheap look to it. Too much of a cheap sheen. No one in my family or friends, that have looked at it, likes it. PLEASE MAKE A COVER THAT ACTUALLY -COVERS - TOP TO BOTTOM, SIDE TO SIDE! You MUST be using a King to display on a Full or Queen in order to look good on camera! NOT A FAIR REPRESENTATION!!!
